About the project
Super Yachting South Africa (SYSA) is a superyacht crew training academy based in Cape Town. Captain Jason Hunter founded it in 2008. SYSA runs RYA-accredited deckhand courses and professional stewardess training. The courses prepare South African and international candidates for careers on luxury yachts around the world. Training combines practical seamanship, STCW certification and industry mentorship. Graduates can then move directly into work in the global superyacht industry.
